Meet Chef Kermit
Kermit Sullivan brings passion and depth of experience in the culinary world to Tin Lizzie Lounge. Born and raised in New York, Kermit was surrounded by diverse neighborhood eateries and iconic restaurants. He started his career as a Prep Cook at Mariner’s Seafood Restaurant in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and returned to formal training at the French Culinary Institute. Sullivan’s culinary curiosity compelled him to travel the world to learn about the epicurean cultures, which greatly inspired his work. Chef Kermit brought the knowledge gained from his travels to each of his culinary position. He worked for Sara Beth’s Kitchen on the Upper West Side, was a Chef Tournant at Kokachin in the Omni Berkshire Hotel, and later became an Executive Sous Chef at Restaurant Charlotte at the Millennium Broadway Hotel and held many more prominent roles in between. These experiences brought Kermit to Tin Lizzie Lounge, where he creates an exceptional culinary experience for the vibrant community of Uptown.
